A question prepared for a history examination in the Canadian province of British Columbia was posted on the website as part of a practice test until the CJC got wind of it. Students were asked to identify the group referred to in the following statement: “They have been fighting to regain a homeland since they were driven out in 1948. Some have lived their entire lives in refugee camps. Forty years later, Israel still refuses to recognize their right to exist as a nation.”

The students were offered four choices: Jews, Iranians, Egyptians or Palestinians (Arutz 7).

All Jews, whether you support Israel or not should be very worried. This is pretty shocking-something one would expect from the former Soviet Union or other communist aligned country, or from the type of fascist propaganda machine used by the Germans in WWII; but not from Canada. It’s as though the world has already written off the sovereign state of Israel. It’s like a Twilight Zone episode about reality being turned upside down. It’s just a small jump from eliminating Israel to going after Jews worldwide-and that’s not exaggerating.
