An Israeli Arab father beat his 15-year-old son for wearing a necklace with the Star of David and associating with Jews, the boy charged in a complaint to Western Galilee police. The courts have ordered the father to be held in custody. (Arutz 7)
I know that this type of thing occurs all over the world. This by itself would not be of more than local concern if so much violence was not already attributed to Islam. Maybe not the ‘religion’ itself, but the culture which has lived with it for centuries. This is one of many reasons why the U.S. is fighting in Iraq. Getting rid of this ideology of dominance involves warfare. I do not know of any better way of dealing with it.
