Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Four Jordanian prisoners handed over by Israel last year to complete their life sentences in the kingdom were released from a jail north of the capital Amman on Wednesday.

The four, who were convicted of killing two Israeli soldiers in November 1990 four years before Israel and Jordan signed a peace treaty, received a hero’s welcome from relatives as they walked out of Qafqafa prison carrying Jordanian flags.

Decision To Release 200 Prisoners Made In Three Minutes!

Monday, August 18th, 2008

Absolutely unbelievable:

“How long did it take the Government to hold a discussion of the release of 200 terrorists, including two who caused the murder of Israelis? No more than three minutes All this without having an depth discussion and without hearing the positions of the security arms.

The discussion took place at the start of the Government meeting, and those who arrived late. did not participate in the vote. Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, who intended to explain at the meeting why she agreed to the move, was not given the floor on the matter and her statement on the matter was delivered by her spokesperson to the press. Moreover, the Shabbak and IDF confirm that they were not even approached on the matter and instead were advised of the matter as a finalized fact.” (Israel Hayom)

This I found on IsraeliGirl, I usually do not watch CNN because of it’s usually biased reports, but this video gives an interesting and rare glimpse into the workings of a terrorist group:

This Video also shows that Hamas is not exactly observing the Truce with Israel.

Israeli army sprays toilet water at protesters

Friday, August 8th, 2008

In a story released by Maan News today, they claim that the Israeli army sprays toilet water at (peaceful) Bil’in protesters.

Soldiers soon began firing tear gas and then pulled out hoses and sprayed water at the group. Several protesters were immediately sick after they were sprayed with the water.

How do they know it’s toilet water since like they say themself that:

The Bil’in popular committee against the wall plans to have samples of the water taken in for analysis.

That means they are just guessing what kind of water this is. It wasn’t even tested yet. To me it just sounds like an other blood libel that can be added to all those other fabricated stories.

End of Gaza truce close?

Friday, August 8th, 2008

Arutz 7 reports that:

The Popular Resistance Committees (PRC) in Gaza warned Thursday that the temporary ceasefire may end in three weeks, when the Muslim holy month of Ramadan begins. The month is frequently marked by an increase in terrorism.

This is what a PRC spokesman is saying:

“The Zionist occupation has not yet agreed to the demand to release our prisoners, so our fighters are preparing for the next round in which we will try to abduct more Israeli soldiers to swap them for our hero prisoners”

Only talks? No, see what an Islamic Jihad leader has to say:

Al-Quds Brigades is currently preparing the combatants and stabilize their military and field, development of internal communications among themselves, to carry out military operations successfully.

“There is a large number of martyrs and martyrs who are waiting for the zero hour.”

Looks like we are soon getting into an other round of hostilities. Scary is that not Israel is determining the path of action, but the enemy!

Meanwhile Maan News is reporting that Israel has agreed to support the efforts of the Palestinian Authority (PA) and the United States aimed at strengthening Palestinian security forces. Meaning more weapons to the Palestinians!

Saudi’s mad at Israeli TV ad

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

This perfectly shows the Arab weakness. When Ahmadinedschad did an antisemitic cartoon contest, Israel responded with a better cartoon contest. Why don`t they respond with an advert- They are fooling themselves. How weak is the arab world, when they are outraged by a well done advert…. bravo !

See the Saudi Arabia’s MBC TV report on the Israeli TV commercial here.

Hamas: Barak’s threats of military action in Gaza are ‘foolish’

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

Hamas Spokesperson Fawzi Barhoum said that:

“Barak’s declarations show that the Israeli government failed to cope with Hamas and the Palestinian resistance’s steadfastness, and they also failed because the Palestinian people supports the resistance.” (from Maan News)

Further he added:

“Barak and his fruitless government do not know that if they commit such follies, they will pay a heavy price. Violence, cruelty and terrorism can’t provide occupation with safety and security.”

Now we reached the point that they are laughing at us.

How to Get the World To Hate Israel

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

As part of evaluating the competitive landscape of the popularity of nations, in a process referred to in marketing circles as ‘place branding,’ Israel, to no one’s great surprise, comes up short in brand likability, ranking last out of 35 nations included in an August 2006 survey conducted by nation branding expert Simon Anholt, even less attractive to respondents than Indonesia, Estonia, and Turkey. Let’s bring Gilad Shalit home!

Monday, August 4th, 2008

Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi said Monday that Israel knew who abducted Israel Defense Forces soldier Gilad Shalit and where he was being held. (Haaretz)

Instead of releasing more Terrorists in return for Gilad, Israel should just go in there and get him back. We know he is alive and we know where he is and we know who is holding him (Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi). Such an military operation might be very difficult, dangerous and risky, but if a success (the only option) it would give us back the respect we loss during the second Lebanon war and with the prisoner exchange with Hezbollah.

Hamas arrests Fatah men returned to Gaza by Israel

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008

Haaretz reports:

A Hamas official on Sunday said a group of Fatah men returned by Israel to the Gaza Strip were immediately detained by the Palestinian militant group’s security forces.

Further it is reported that Abbas gave the order to send them back:

Israel sent the group back on Sunday after Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian Authority Prime Minister Salam Fayyad withdrew an earlier request for Defense Minister Ehud Barak to allow the Gazans entry to Israel and then to transfer them to the West Bank.

Can anyone out there explain to me why the PA refused to allow these guys into the West Bank? They must realize that Hamas is going to eliminate them.

The World’s Worst Olympians

Saturday, August 2nd, 2008

The Jewish state may command outsized attention in the diplomatic arena, but Israel’s performance on the field of sport has been anything but impressive.

Israel has only won 6 medals  since it  started taking part at the Olympics in 1952. That’s the reason Israel is now on the list of the world’s worst Olympians. Only Peru got less medals than Israel, with 4 medals they are ranked last.

Son of Hamas leader who converted to Christianity slams Hamas

Friday, August 1st, 2008

After that Masab, son of West Bank Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef converted to Chritianity and after the Family denied that he converted, the son of the Hamas leader is slamming Hamas:

“You Jews should be aware: You will never, but never have peace with Hamas. Islam, as the ideology that guides them, will not allow them to achieve a peace agreement with the Jews. They believe that tradition says that the Prophet Mohammed fought against the Jews and that therefore they must continue to fight them to the death. They have to take revenge against anyone who did not agree to accept the Prophet Mohammed, like the Jews who are seen in the Koran as monkeys and the sons of pigs. They speak in terms of historical rights that were taken from them. In the view of Hamas, peace with Israel contradicts sharia and the Koran, and the Jews have no right to remain in Palestine.” (Haaretz)

I am wondering what price he is going to pay for this interview. We know whats happening to collaborators in Hamas land.
