I Support the Israel Defense Forces In Preventing Terror Attacks From Gaza

Jews and Christians from around the world are joining a Facebook community forum to express their support for the men and women of the Israel Defense Forces in their fight to counter terrorism against innocent civilians in Israel from Gaza.

Responding to unprovoked terror rocket attacks from Hamas terrorists in Gaza against Israeli civilian populations, the Israel Defense Forces has launched a massive counter attack. This Facebook forum supports the brave men and women in the Israel Defense Forces who by air, water and ground protect Israel’s democracy and sovereign borders.

The Hamas government leaders and operatives, which activate terror from within civilian population centers, are the sole bearers of responsibility for Israel’s military response. This response is crucial for preserving Israel’s security interests.

The IDF Spokesperson wishes to emphasize that anyone sponsoring terror, hosting terror in his house, housing terror in his basement and sending his wives and children to serve as human shields- is considered a terrorist.

The IDF will continue its activity against terror activities according to operational assessments held by the Chief of the General Staff. The IDF is ready to widen and deepen its activity against all terror organizations in the Gaza Strip, as long as it is necessary.

In addition, the Homefront Command and emergency authorities, took all necessary measures for preparing the civilian population.

The group is open 24/7 as public opinion directly affects life on the ground. Please forward this room to your family, friends and the media. Let them know that Israel wants peace but will defend herself when attacked.

UN Security Council calls for immediate halt to Gaza violence

Sunday, December 28th, 2008

The United Nations Security Council called early on Sunday for an immediate end to all violence in Gaza after the death toll climbed past 270 on the second day of Israeli air strikes in retaliation for rocket and mortar fire by Gaza militants.

I do not remember the UN or anybody else calling for an immediate halt to Qassam rockets against Israel!

Carter regrets not meeting with Hezbollah

Saturday, December 13th, 2008

I already reported that Jimmy Carter wanted to meet Hezbollah leaders. After being rejected a meeting he is now regretting that terrorist Hezbollah doesn’t want to meet:

Jimmy Carter said Friday he would have been “delighted” to meet with Hezbollah officials during his visit to Lebanon and regretted the group’s leaders refuse to meet with current or former American presidents.

Carter offered to have his Atlanta-based Carter Center monitor Lebanon’s parliament elections next year.

During a lecture at the American University of Beirut on Friday, Carter expressed disappointment Hezbollah refused to see him.

“We came here with the hope that we can meet with all the political parties and factions in Lebanon,” he said. “If the leaders of Hezbollah wanted to meet with me, I would have been delighted.

Hezbollah had refused to see him.

“Hezbollah does not meet with anyone from a US administration which supports Zionist terrorism,” said Mohamed Raad, head of Hezbollah’s parliamentary bloc.

But he added that his group is not opposed to election monitors being sent to Lebanon to oversee the parliamentary vote.

“We are not concerned with election monitoring, we don’t reject it,” Raad said. “We will accept whatever decision the cabinet takes.”

The parliamentary elections could well see a majority grabbed by Hezbollah and its allies.

Carter planned to go to neighboring Syria on Saturday for meetings with Syrian President Bashar Assad and Hamas leaders based in Damascus.

In his speech, Carter said Iran and Syria could have a major role in Mideast peacemaking efforts.

Carter is widely respected for his bold pro-peace stances. His critics, often Israel apologists, have failed to deter him from campaigning for a just peace in the region. (Middle East Online)

More than that. Now Carter also backs the partition of Jerusalem.

Al-Qaeda is now in Lebanon

Friday, December 12th, 2008

The UN peacekeeping force’s South Lebanon command declared the Palestinian Ain Hilwe camp near Sidon a no-go zone for the force’s convoys for fear of attacks by al Qaeda. The newly-arrived al Qaeda cell from Iraq has taken over large sections of the camp and recruited many Palestinians.
Washington does not rule out a broad al Qaeda offensive in Lebanon and against Israel. (DEBKAFile)

“Blow Yourselves Up in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv”

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

From Memri:

Husan Abdallah, Lebanese Association of Islamic Scholars: “I say on behalf of the Association of Islamic Scholars: The truce with the Zionist entity is meaningless. The solution is to renew the resistance in a stronger and more effective way. Let pure bodies blow up again in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, and in all the cities of occupied Palestine, because this enemy understands nothing but the language of force.

Boycott Israeli Goods

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Why Boycott Israel? Read this great Article by Joel Leyden.

The Palestinian people, who became a people in the 1960’s and refused their own state in 1948, are experiencing their fortieth year of terrorizing Israel. The siege by the Hamas army and the economic blockades created by Iran, Syria and Saudi Arabia have devastated their daily lives so that ‘normal’ life is impossible. Read the rest here…

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Bethlehem - Ma’an – Hamas warned on Wednesday that settler violence in the West Bank and Israel’s crippling siege of the Gaza Strip could provoke a new Palestinian Intifada, or uprising.

I never knew that the last Intifada ever stopped.

It’ all Israel’s fault…

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Iran’s Vice President for Tourism and Cultural Heritage Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei said Israel is the major responsible for the world’s current political, economic and security crises.
American people need to cease Israeli influence over their country to be released from the successive challenges; moreover the destruction of Israel needs to be turned to an international demand, he said as meeting with the Arab League Secretary General Amr Mousa in the holy city of Mecca. (ISNA)

Scary that he might get support for his demand to destroy Israel.

Iran, the UN and Terrorism

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

Iran’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Mohammad Khazaee said on Tuesday that terrorism is the most important challenge facing the international community.

He underlined the need for all-out struggle against the ominous phenomenon of terrorism by the international community with the UN key role. (IRNA)

Now after wondering that Iran as a renown terror sponsor in the Middle East has changed it’s mind and wants to struggle against Terrorism , the Ambassador doesn’t forget to denounce Israel as a Terrorist State:

Condemning the Zionist atrocities in the Palestinian occupied lands, Khazaee reiterated that the measures taken by the Israeli regime is a clear manifestation of the state terrorism in the world.(IRNA)

Ahh, it’s Israel! How did we miss this. Of course the UN will agreed with him… and will add some anti-Israel resolutions to the list. Iran and the UN really make a nice couple in the fight against Terrorism!

Most Israelis think human rights groups oppose their country

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

Most Israelis believe that human rights organizations are hostile toward Israel and worsen its international image, according to a recent survey. (Haaretz)

Further, and that will surprise a lot of people:

55 percent of the participants said that Israel protects human rights better than other Western democracies.

It is easy for people to get manipulated by Human Right Groups. It’s so easy to believe them…

Richard A. Falk against Israel

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

In a statement, Richard Falk, the UN Special Rapporteur for human rights in the Palestinian territories, said the civilian population in Gaza was “being collectively punished by policies that amount to a Crime Against Humanity.”

The international court should “determine whether the Israeli civilian leaders and military commanders responsible for the Gaza siege should be indicted and prosecuted for violations of international criminal law.”

Falk said Israel was only allowing into Gaza small amounts of food and fuel in quantities enough to “stave off mass famine and disease.” (Trend News)

It is not the first time that the American Jew Richard A. Falk lashes out against Israel. In a June 2007 article called “Slouching toward a Palestinian Holocaust,” Falk compared Israeli actions in the Palestinian territories with those of the Nazis during World War II and accused Israel of having “genocidal tendencies,”, infuriating the Jewish State. The Israeli government then announced that it will deny Falk a visa to Israel, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

The question here is who is genocidal in Palestine ? The Palestinians (or whoever they are) had many opportunities to form their own state. They rejected them. The Hamas and the Hezbollah want the extermination of the Jews. Is it not genocide ?

Jimmy Carter - Hezbollah meeting?

Monday, December 8th, 2008

CNSNews.com is reporting that:

former President Jimmy Carter has not ruled out a meeting with representatives of Hezbollah, the Iranian-sponsored terrorist organization which prior to 9/11 was responsible for more American terror-related deaths than any other organization.

He already caused controversy when he visited the Middle East in April. Although advised by Washington not to meet with leaders of the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas – whose charter calls for the destruction of Israel – he did so anyway.

I hope that everybody now realizes just how passionately anti-Israel Carter is. Just read his book called Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid .

In my opinion Carter’s anti Israel stance is helpful… but only to those who also hate the state of Israel.
