The Mumbai operation is a message to President-elect Barack Obama to say: you have dreams of a better world but this is the real world that you must deal with. In spite of how you have arranged your priorities, terrorism will always be at the top of the list.
The problem of terrorism does not only afflict the country in which it exists; the danger lies in ignoring it. For the countries that believe that they are distant from the issue of terrorism, it will soon catch up with them; in fact it is on their doorstep. The danger of what is happening in India, Pakistan and Afghanistan is that it is concentrated in a region in which ignorance, tribalism and nuclear weapons come together.

Osama bin Laden is prone to return to the targets he missed the first time round. His organization has gone into action mode for a major operation in the United States. Chicago is on his list of targets.
The notice said “the operation is very near” and “precise instructions were in the hands of “the fighters, who are already on their way to America” armed with bin Laden’s orders. (Source: DEBKAfile)

Barack Obama claims to be a supporter of Israel and a friend of the Jewish people. But many of the people who helped him in the course of his rise to political power, or whom he helped during his political ascent, are extremely anti-Israel, or even outright anti-Semitic. Let’s examine the views and careers of just a few of Obama’s anti-Israel and/or anti-Semitic benefactors and protégés:
Rashid Khalidi was the director of the PLO’s press agency WAFA from 1976 to 1982, at a time when the PLO was conducting a massacre of 37 Israeli civilians in a bus on Israel’s coastal road, the brutal murder of a four-year-old Israeli girl in Nahariya, and numerous other terrorist killings of Israeli civilians. The PLO was also waging a brutal war against the Lebanese Christian community during this period, and carried out numerous massacres of Lebanese Christians; the worst of these was the killing of about 500 people in the village of Damour. During this same period, Rashid’s wife Mona Khalidi was an English translator for WAFA. Rashid Khalidi is now an advocate of a “one state solution” for all of “Palestine” - meaning the destruction of Israel and its replacement by an Arab state. Asaf Romirowsky and Jonathan Calt Harris, in an article in the Washington Times on July 9, 2004, summarized Rashid Khalidi’s views about Israel this way: “[His] extremism comes out when he calls Israel an ‘apartheid system in creation’ and a ‘racist state’ that ‘brainwashed’ Americans do not understand. Jerusalem, with its Jewish majority since the 1880s, he deems ‘an Arab city’ whose control by Israeli ‘foreigners’ is ‘unacceptable.’ And so on.” Khalidi also accuses Israel of “ethnic cleansing.”

At least four students from a suburban St. Louis middle school face punishment for allegedly hitting Jewish classmates during what they called “Hit a Jew Day.”
The incident happened last week at Parkway West Middle School in Chesterfield.
District officials said Thursday they believe that fewer than 10 children of the district’s 35 Jewish students were struck.
It began with an unofficial “Spirit Week” among sixth-graders that started harmlessly enough with a “Hug a Friend Day.” Then there was “High Five Day.”
Soon, though, the days moved from friendly to silly. Next there was “Hit a Tall Person Day” and, finally, “Hit a Jew Day.” (AP)
The Jewish students should have come back with “punch the gentile Jew-hater in the face and knock their teeth out” day.

While DEBKAfile reports that US intelligence’s amended estimate is, that Iran will be ready to build its first bomb just one month after the next US president is sworn in, the IAEA chief says that Tehran yet to obtain necessary raw unenriched uranium to build even single nuclear weapon. Meanwhile another round of talks amongst UN Security Council members on the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program fails to yield results.
Who should we believe? The IAEA Chief or the US Intelligence?

Terrorist gangs value Obama so much they are deploying their forces to protect the visiting Obama from others in their Terrorist Land. I wonder what they see or know about Obama that they would call out all their forces to protect him.
This is a difficult task, given that there are so many cells within their own Terrorist organizations that they cannot trust each other. Every Islamist is his very own gang of one - and IF he or she chooses, he or she can act on his own.
To wit today’s (July 22) Bulldozer Terrorist copycat smashing buses and cars, next to Obama’s hotel, the King David (injuring at least 24 including one with a leg amputated) - the Bulldozer Terrorist of July 2nd, killing 2 women and a grandfather on the street below CNN’s studios (injuring 76) - the Massacre at the entrance to Jerusalem, murdering 8 teenage students at Mercaz Harav Yeshiva. All were “lone Terrorists on a rampage”. All were Muslim Arabs from Arab villages around Jerusalem.

(IsraelNN.com) Mujahedeen Muslim terrorists may be behind the sinking American dollar as part of a campaign to cripple the American economy, the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reported. The media watch group, which also tracks Arabic language websites, said that postings on websites the past two years reflects a move towards waging an economic war against the United States.
Mujahedeen terrorist groups that operate in Afghanistan, Pakistan and other countries “have come to the conclusion that it is financial, rather than military, losses that will prompt the U.S. to change its policies in the Middle East and elsewhere,” according to MEMRI.
An article recently posted in Sada Al-Jihad (Echo of Jihad) magazine and posted on several Muslim websites, discusses the September 11 attacks on the U.S. as having influenced the decline in the dollar. It also cited the cost of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan as draining the American economy.
Another recent posting stated, “The dollar can expect two additional blows that will break its back… [namely] the announcement of the return of the [religious rule of the] Caliphate…” and the reinstatement of the gold standard in international monetary trade. It urged Mujahedeen “to get rid of American dollars” before an “imminent” terrorist attack that “will put an end to the so-called United States of America and destroy its economy completely.”
MEMRI concluded, “Given that it is highly atypical for Al-Qaeda to give prior of its attacks, the message is probably an attempt to pressure Muslims to sell dollars, in order to generate pessimism in the dollar market and thus accelerate the drop in its value.”

The US government will tell 7,000 businesses next week that they are considered high-risk terrorist targets because they house large amounts of chemicals.
The sites - which range from major chemical plants to universities, food processing centers and hospitals - will need to complete a vulnerability assessment so the government can decide how to regulate their security measures in the future.

Right after the comments made by Democratic rival Barack Obama, who told AIPAC on Wednesday that he would not allow Iran to acquire nuclear arms, and that Jerusalem would remain the undivided capital of Israel McCain said while campaigning in Miami the following:
“Jerusalem is undivided, Jerusalem is the capital and we should move the embassy to Jerusalem before anything happens,” (Haaretz)
I remember Bush saying the same thing during his campaign in 2000. The Embassy is still in Tel Aviv.
Moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, capital of Israel, will send a clear and strong message to the world and especially to the Middle East that terrorism does not pay.
But will whoever will be elected as a president have the balls to do that?

Democratic presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton recently promised to stand behind Israel, with Clinton saying she’d “obliterate Iran” if it attacked the state. In all likelihood Israel won’t need her help:
6 is the World rank of Israel’s nuclear arsenal by volume of bombs, according to the U.S. Defence Intellegence Agency estimates.
100 - 250 is the number of nukes in the arsenal, by the Federation of American Scientists’ count.
3 is the number of deployment options for Israeli nuclear weapons - one by air, two by land, three by sea.
2 is the number of Israel’s Dolphin-class, German-made nuclear submarines, which give it a second-strike capability.
