Iran and the USA will face each other in the next FIBA world championship. I wonder if sports can bridge diplomatic riffs that our so called “statesmen” can’t even begin to make an effort. they won’t negotiate with “terrorists”.   Just put a ball between the two and let them play it out! Iran will get their butts kicked, but at least they will be on the same court as the Americans.  Probably the only court the two countries will be on together in a long time.
