The Iran-Iraq war began on September 22 1980 with an attack by the Iraqi Army on Iran. Iran’s army was devastated by the initial attack. But how did Iran survive the onslaught of Saddam Hussein’s Army? Surprisingly, Israel saved Iran from the onslaught of Saddam Hussein.
Since 1949, when Iran was the first Arab country to recognize the Jewish state, there has been a thriving trade between Israel and Iran. At first the trade was based on everyday items for oil, which was banned for sale to Israel by Arab counties. In 1975 Israel began selling weapons to Iran. Several joint programs were created between Israel and Iran. The programs included a missile creation program and a tank creation program.
In 1979 the tables turned on Israel. The Ayatollah Khomeini overthrew the monarchy of the Iranian Shah (a friend of Israel) and established a fundamentalist and radical government. The new government immediately denounced Israel naming it “The Little Satan”. The radical government boycotted all of western civilization. However, soon Israel would save Iran again.
In 1981 the Iraqi army opened a surprise attack on the Iranian border. Iranian forces were devastated by the initial strike. However, two years later all of the territory captured by Iraq was recaptured by Iran. How is such a turn of events possible? Israel saved Iran with constant arm shipments from Tel-Aviv to Teheran. In 1981, when the Iranian army was in ruins, several Iranian Jews working in the Israel Ministry of Defense began setting up arm sales to Iran. The sales included TOW anti-tank missiles, Hawk anti-aircraft missiles, F-14 spare parts, Centurion Tank spare parts, and huge amounts of ammunition for all types of weapons in exchange for oil. The sales totaled in 5 billion American dollars worth of weapons. These weapons however would have never saved Iran if Iraq’s nuclear reactor remained. The biggest assistance given by Israel to Iran is Operation Opera, when 16 Israeli Fighter bombers wiped Iraq’s Osrik nuclear reactor off the face of the earth. This move saved Iran from nuclear holocaust.
Today Iran may despise and threaten Israel, but Iran owes Israel its very existence. Israel saved Iran from the wrath of Saddam Hussein’s army with its arm shipments. Without the “Little Satan” Iran would be in rubbles.

When a foreign nation's leader says they are going to remove you from the map, you should pay close attention. In the case of Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the rhetoric has plenty of action behind it. Iran is publicly known to provide hundreds of millions of dollars to Hezbollah whose task is to destabilize if not destroy Lebanon, and of course create weekly if not daily havoc in Israel. The network of terrorism support doesn't stop there and Iran is clearly one of the most destabilizing forces in the Middle East. With its reluctant but equally active friend Syria, the Middle East is in turmoil.

I wonder how Israel would feel if it were surrounded on all sides by countries in possession of nuclear weapons and committed to a "war on terror". At the rate the US was creating propoganda to justify invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, and Iran square in the middle of them how would Israel feel in those shoes if it did not possess the same military capability as this country dedicated to a "war on terror"? Better yet, answer this. Why is it ok for Israel to have nuclear weapons and not Iran? Because Iran is such a dangerous and unstable country? Do me a favor and do a google search for this phrase: "suicide bomber in Iran" Do you see any results anywhere on the first page? Nope. Now interchange the word Iran with Israel, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, India, Yemen, Jordan, etc. Sucks to be liviing in these countries I would say. Do the same search for the two words war and Iran and interchange again.
Of course Iran as a sponsor of terrorism is not allowing any terror on it's own soil. They prefer to finace, train them and to send them to other countries to blow up.

Israel was nothing (and is nothing) but America's puppet, it was the US who led this sale of arms to Iran and it was their idea from the very beginning, the US merely pulled the puppet Israeli strings and made it happen.
