About the whole mess: God isn't on either side. You have millions of naked apes in one small area who compulsively organize themselves into monkey troops called nations, all competing for dwindling resources. Of course they hate one another! The only solution: control population and educate populaces as to the idiocy of patriotism [unlikely!].
That said, i come down on Israel's side for the simple reason that, warts and all, they're a more open society, and Hamas did resume their rocket barrages.
Killing Israeli civilians is Jihad, a noble thing, but Israelis killing civilians while trying to kill Hamas fighters hiding among them, THAT'S EVIL. It's that unfairness [in the UN and elsewhere] that makes some of us goy side with Israel [in spite of their friendship with america!].
