Israeli wine on the Top 100

The Golan Heights Cabernet Sauvignon Galilee Yarden 2004 made it up to place 91 in the annual Top 100 wines from the Wine Spectator. It’s the first time that an Israeli wine makes it to the List!

This is what Daniel Rogov has to say about this wine:

Dark garnet, with generous wood in fine balance with acidity and fruits. Opens to show currants and crushed berries, yielding to cherries, ripe purple plums and dark chocolate, all on a background of spices, asphalt and earthiness.

Well then: Lechaim!
