Did Kotel Prayers stops Hurricanes?

Florida Governor Charlie Crist said his written prayers that were placed at the Western Wall (Kotel) have prevented hurricanes from striking the state the past two years.

Crist, a Methodist, told real estate agents that during a trade mission to Israel in 2007, he went to the Western Wall and placed a note that said, “Dear G-d, please protect our Florida from storms and other difficulties. Charlie.” (IsraelNN.com).

I always knew that placing a note at the Kotel helps.
