Military source: the firing of rockets – an attempt to harm Shalit deal

Terrorist groups in Gaza continue to fire rockets at Israel. Late this afternoon two rockets where fired in the western Negev. No reports of injuries or damage. According to estimates by a military source, a small organization committed the shooting in an attempt to obstruct negotiations with Hamas on a deal to free Shalit (nrg).

Contrary to earlier reports, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu today denies that a deal for kidnapped soldier Gilad Shalit is imminent.
