Rachel’s Tomb a mosque?
When Ma’an asserts that Rachel’s Tomb is “formerly known as the location of the Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque” this is not a minor matter.
The position of Palestinian religious officials is that it is a desecration for non-Muslim prayer to take place within a mosque. Thus, by asserting that Rachel’s Tomb is actually somehow a mosque, Ma’an is warning that if the day comes that Rachel’s Tomb is under Palestinian control that the Palestinian religious leadership will not countenance the possibility that Jews continue to pray there.
Right-wing religious groups petitioned Israel’s highest court in 2004 to re-route the wall to include the tomb on the western side. To this day the site, formerly known as the location of the Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque, is accessible only from the Israeli side.
The Pals really want to take everything Jewish away to change history.
